Background
Veteli Energy wanted to improve the efficiency of its work management processes, standardise and enhance the quality of data collected in the field, and make working time recording easier.
The company also wanted task documentation to be as simple and straightforward as possible, including when working in demanding field conditions. In addition, the objective was to collect the information required for invoicing and financial monitoring directly in the field.

About
Veteli Energy is an energy company owned by the Municipality of Veteli. The company is responsible for electricity distribution within its network area, which covers the Municipality of Veteli, with the exception of the villages of Polso, Kivinkangas and Nykänen. Veteli Energy distributes electricity to more than 2,000 households and sells electricity primarily within its own distribution network area. The company also generates electricity at two hydropower plants located on the Patananjoki River.
In addition, Veteli Energy supplies district heating produced using biofuels in the centre of Veteli. Its subsidiary provides electrical installation services and sells electrical supplies. The company handles almost all fault response and repair work using its own personnel.
